As of November 20th, 2015 Twitter has updated their Tweet button with a new design, and have removed the Tweet count endpoint. In this blog post we would like to inform our current and future clients regarding these changes, and also provide additional insight.
How will this affect current orders?
All of the links we provide on our reports will remain accessible. The only difference will be that the direct link to the Twitter share button will no longer display the current Twitter share count.
We will continue to deliver the service as usual. Our promotional system allows us to monitor the progress of the campaign, which enables us to keep track of the campaigns performance. We are reluctant to remove Twitter Signals from our packages, as they play a large role in the natural distribution of the social signals. However, we will also offer buyers the option to opt-out of Twitter signals and receive an equivalent amount of Facebook and Pinterest signals.
